Experience

I have tutored for 2yrs at the university level. I have also taught 3yrs worth of Introductory Physics and Astrophysics (Non-Majors) Labs. In addition, I served as the Physics Instructor for Keiser University for Physics 1 and 2 earlier this year. Passed Ph.D. Qualifying Exam in Physics Worked in an electronics lab for 2yrs post undergraduate degree. Experienced in Observational Astronomy; recreational and professionally I have taken Physics courses to include Mechanics, Electromagnetism, Quantum Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Optics, Modern Physics, Astrophysics, etc. I enjoy the rewards of teaching and helping others develop a logic within themselves that they didn't realize was there and that can be applied not only to school, but to any situation that life presents. I also enjoy showing that physics does not have to be the boring/tedious subject that social norms have portrayed it to be, but the love-child of curiosity and imagination. My past teaching experiences have shown me that this is something I would like to pursue in my life, so I would like to get as much first-hand experience as possible.

Hobbies

I enjoy listening to and playing music. Although not fluent, I understand quite a bit of Spanish at an intermediate level. I am an avid reader and enjoy astronomy, and basically anything to do with science, movies, games, and occasional adventuring. When it comes to education I particularly enjoy developing interactive and creative ways of demonstrating/teaching science related subjects.
